Here are just a few of the hikes I've gone on recently. Hidden Forest was the first hike just located just south east of Bend Oregon.
It was a simple hike. One mile, one hour, and a few belly crawls we were able to check out this fairly interesting cave. Photo Album.
Yesterday Sarah and I tackled something a bit more strenuous. With 60 degree weather in the middle of February we were forced to venture out into the sun to enjoy the Oregon Gorge. Dog Mountain was suppose to be a 7 mile hike ..
.. but after getting slightly lost the final distance ended up being 10 miles. After 5 hours and nearly a mile gain in elevation we were pretty damn exhausted. Even poor lil Miley had a rough time.
We ended the day with a large plate of nachos and a couple of margaritas so all ended well. You can check out the Photo Album here.
