It's a good thing I joined the Soccerplex indoor soccer league because I am one out of shape SOB. Our first game tonight was a huge disappointment. We lead the first half by as many as four goals but as soon as second half started I was exhausted. A pounding headache and seeing double really inhibited my ability to manage the field. The game ended as a lost, 9-11. Part of me feels responsible for the loss but all the guys were pretty cool about it all. Next week will hopefully be better.

Man-cation Round II
Ben, my best friend since childhood, came back to PDX for some fun and to have my back. Brent, Ben, and I all got together after my game and went out to a few local bars, then shot some pool ate some food, and finally visited some other "classy" establishments. We met severalpeople out and about and I am now about to crash into bed at 0257. If anybody knows me then they should be able to gauge the type of night I had if I am going to bed this late. We had one hell of a night. Now if I can only find some way to convince Ben to move up here .. hmm ..
Alright, off to bed I go. Good thing I purchased a heated mattress pad for my bed. It's been a tit bit chilly out as of recently. =/
