Good News

I recieved a phone call today from my unit supervisor. She offered me a day shift position starting July 5th. This does come with a decrease in pay bussier work days, more physicians and families to deal with but I will atleast have a normal sleeping pattern for once. The nights of cans of redbulls and pots of black coffee are over. I'm considering this a quality of life promotion.

Other good news is I can now take down the tin foil in my bedroom windows. Now my house won't look like a meth lab from the outside. This is a good thing.

I am so unhappy you are going to days. We are losing our funny man on nights, but days will be gaining one. Good Luck.

Ahhh Thanks A1. I am going to miss my night crew. You're all the best. We can still be friends and hopefully I don't turn into a true "day shifter". I will remember my roots. =)
