Health Bridges International - Peru 2008

Back in June of 2008 my grandpa and I traveled with a local non-for-profit health organization Health Bridges International to Peru. Our goal was to visit local schools and treat illnesses and identify kids at risk of becoming homeless. The current lack of sleep is preventing me from going too so I hope these pictures can suffice.

International human relief is one of my passions and I hope that later on in life I will be able to travel more. These are just two of the many amazing photos I took while on my trip. Please feel free to browse them all in my Picasa web album.

Hi Dan,

Shelley sent me (Holly Maxim) a link to your blog. It looks great! My sister Rebecca is a nurse specializing in HIV/AIDS. She was in Nepal for two months mentoring with a British doc way up in the woods. She then traveled to Chile, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, and Mexico for another two months to relax. It is a great life. She is interested in international public health issues. I think you would enjoy talking to her.

Keep posting!
