Summer and Kayaking

Summer is almost here and It's time I started a new hobby. My friend Josh is an expert white water guide and a semi-pro kayaker. His girlfriend, Christina, has been accepted into a nursing school in Portland and will be moving here soon. Josh has sworn he will turn me into a kayaker in no time. Last year he took me on the Dechutes river for some fun.
Over summers past Josh has ran this river hundreds of times and finds it quite boring. I on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed the water and the rush of the river. This summer Josh will be taking me to local pools to learn the basics and hopefully soon I will have pictures of me working the white water in my own kayak.
